My favorite salvos from our 2010 infowar

What a year. Wikileaks, thanks for some great (and depressing) memories. Here are my favorites so far:

  1. Chinese nuclear fusion - The Chinese sustained a nuclear fusion reaction for a couple of minutes, apparently without the help of cold water.
  2. UFOs! - A freaking UFO invasion? Are you kidding me?!
  3. Monsanto - The organization I love to hate. As a farm boy growing up, I have a spot for increasing the awareness of corporate agribusiness. And these folks seem to be the worst. Bonus corporate bastard link.
  4. Honeybees - Remember the mystery that was colony collapse disorder? Come to find out, it's probably due to a pesticide from the Bayer Corp. that was widely used about the time we experienced our bee problem. They knew it. The EPA knew it. Wikileaks now knows it and so do we.
  5. Sicko! - I may occupy some of the same ideological space as Michael Moore, but I find his documentaries a bit contrived and repetitive. Come to find out, the Cuban government thinks he's stretched the truth in describing their health care system. Go figure.
  6. Iranian Ninjas - You can't make this stuff up.

I'm not that big of a Ron Paul fan, but he does speak more sense, more often than many of his counterparts. Leaving you with one such example:

"In a free society, we are supposed to know the truth. In a society where truth becomes treason, we are in big trouble." -Ron Paul
